This is my first foray into blogging. Originally from Long Island, I now live in NJ and work in Manhattan. I am a Civil Engineer which brings out my geeky but loveable side. In my free time you can find me going to the gym, watching TV, playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and family, traveling and exploring NYC. I really like keeping busy and staying active. They say there are beach people and mountain people - I'm definitely a mountain person; would much rather be on a hike to a waterfall than laying on the beach (although that is nice from time to time as well).
Here are some of my interests that you are sure hear about if to continue reading this blog:
- Traveling! I spent a semester in Europe and it was the best experience of my life.
- Cooking - I like to experiment and am good at concocting things made of miscellaneous items that I find around the kitchen, also a pro at freezing.
- TV - I watch a lot of it, my favorite kind is the traditional sitcom (Seinfeld's my favorite of all time) and maybe you will learn about my guilty pleasures (which do not include reality!)
- Photography - I don't do this much but when I get in the right mood I love taking pictures and playing with all the fun settings on my camera!
- Comedy - I enjoy intelligent comedy. I also try to be funny, I usually only make myself laugh.
